Inbox doesn't collect anything. It has no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking, and it never sends data to its developer or anyone else.

The app shows Instagram's own website (instagram.com) with videos, reels and feeds hidden. When you sign in and chat, you're talking to Instagram directly, the same as in Safari, and Instagram's privacy policy applies to that. Your Instagram login is stored by iOS on your iPhone so you stay signed in.

Camera, microphone and photo access are only used when you choose to send a photo or a voice message in a chat, and only go to Instagram.

Inbox is not made by or affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
